Turns out that speed dating was the best thing I've done for myself in a long time, perhaps ever. I was all smiles all night. The baseball league I play in started the preseason last week. My team begins play next Tuesday. The coach finally e-mailed me last night. Solid practice today, getting my "pesky" groove back. Went 1-2 with a walk, go-ahead 2 RBI single down the right field line, ground out to second base. Stole a base, got barely tagged out on a second steal attempt.
