A troubled friend needs help

Do any of you know a psychiatrist in Massachusetts who takes MassHealth? I have a friend who is having trouble getting help through the usual channels.

Massachusetts does a poor job of looking out for the mental health of people who don't have infinite money.

I went to Riverside Community Care in Newton. They insist you go to a therapist too though. But they do take Masshealth.

my community health center takes masshealth and has psychiatrists: fenway community health. this is generally true of community health centers in boston.

the waiting list is probably a couple of months.
