I have a couple of bathroom cats too. They sit on the side of the tub during baths and drink the bathwater. (We think this is their way of showing that even though they are too small to eat us, they are more than happy to enjoy the taste of humans steeped in hot water - mwahahaha human tea.) They usually play in the tub after any baths or showers and drink from the faucet if it's still dripping. One of them actually used to jump in the shower while it was running and hang out for a minute or two, which was weird, but always funny.

Oh yes they'll always go for the dripping tap. I anthropamorphise that it's becuase that way the water is active and dangerous and so can be killed and consumed with honour rather than the staid, boring water in the cat bowl. As for jumping in the shower that's just weird. Cute, but weird.

I'm kitten-sitting. I have wrist scars, she falls on her head and gallops everywhere. Too small to get in the bath though. Wickedcool.

The falling on the head bit is key. He doesn't do it so much these days but Linus used to get so relaxed and happy that he'd gradually slide off arms of chairs until gravity took over and he feel in an undignified heap. It is most often in things we fail at that we are at our cutest. [referring I think to animals as a whole]
