Except... Bloomington-Normal passed a smoking ban! Rejoice, rejoice, rejoice, we can avoid lung cancer! I'm sure if smoking is part of the "experience" we can get a pack for Michael and I can get one of my friends to blow it in his direction? ;)

Myself, I am not a basketball fan unless a school in Illinois is involved - it is one of the lamest sports unless playing it. But we'll see what we can do.

Well, Illinois somehow managed to squeak into the tournament as a #12 seed, so you'll have reason to pay attention to it for a little while at least. (Oh, so did Southern Illinois.) But I have serious doubts about them beating Virginia Tech...My husband would say that of course they can beat VA Tech. I just point to my icon and say, "UNC COULDN'T BEAT THEM--TWICE. ILLINOIS ISN'T ALLOWED TO DO WHAT MY TEAM COULDN'T!" :)

I'm definitely a fairweather basketball fan - and I'm more likely to cheer for a team like Bradley than SIU. And besides, now that it is temporarily nice out, my blood is singing "BASEBALL!"

I think Texas A&M's ranking has something to do with them beating KU at KU.
