thefolksinger posted a few days back that the Starbucks GINGERBREAD LATTE is scheduled to be in stores today. I actually put this on my calendar lest I forget. I have tenatively planned to buy a GINGERBREAD LATTE on my way out of town to help see me through the 6.5 hour trip. I just had one to day in Calgary. I don't know what I was expecting, but I was actually a bit disappointed. It seems like I had one last year and liked it, but maybe it was actually something else.

It was fun. Rachel's slideshow was really great and the food was good. There was dancing afterward and I met some really nice people from Rachel's detachment and we all had a good time.

We got back to Wheaton around 2a (3a my time!). It's a little after 7a here now and I'm really starting to question the wisdom of running in a 5K this morning! :-/

I'll update more latter with more detail and hopefully a few pictures!
