been hanging out with my roommates for a bit tonight. they are all pretty damn cool. smoked a hookah with mshak, ripped some of ethan's phish bootlegs and talked music, and basically made ridiculous jokes with john. john is a super chill guy. they all are. good times.

so band practice was quite good tonight. got our jam on for awhile and then went in a totally different direction and worked on vocals. yes, i sang. i liked doing it too. me and gomez got a really sweet harmony down for one of our songs. i may end up doing the lead on it. of course when we listened to the recording i cringed every 10 seconds ( Read more... )

so i obviously have to give this a little bit of time, but i think that the new death cab for cutie cd might be my favorite album of 2005, even more so than the new ben folds and coldplay. we'll see how i feel about it in a few weeks.

i'm slightly more calm now. still annoyed, just not quite as bad. i figure i can still get a good amount of stuff moved this weekend and finish it up monday. i was just really looking forward to getting settled in and i'm sick of being dissapointed, this has been such a stressful time i can't wait for it to be over.
