*five minutes later can be found in a cupboard, bright red with the book behind a bookshelf on the other side of the room, having been flung in horror*

*trapped in his office by a horde of advancing slugs, sitting in the furthest corner of the room from the puddle of slime oozing under the door*
*a note saying "HELP, TRAPPED IN OFFICE BY SLUGS" has been pushed under the door into the hall. It's now dissolving slowly in the slime; whether anyone will get there in time to read it or not is doubtful*

*wheels very slowly into school, still wearing his gala suit (but it's okay since he didn't sleep in it) and starts looking around for some coffee to help with the ungodly punch-hangover*

*still not entirely clear on why he woke up on Konan's couch*

...*is wheeling slowly around various hallways, looking kind of distressed*

*really wishes he had an actual job to do to take his mind off things*

*also hears there was some kind of party at the weekend that he missed out on, feels sad and neglected and also kind of vengeful*

...*picks up phone slowly, swallows, and very hesitantly makes a call to Pein, leaving this message:*

Konan-san said it's not safe for me to sleep here, and I have to move in with her. Um.  *blushes at this* *would maybe have preferred to move in with Kakashi-san, because it would be less terrifying, and doesn't he have a sauna these days?*
