( A couple people asked for stories from the hospital. This one got kind of long. (ETA: It belatedly occurred to me that Stories From the Hospital is kind of an unhelpfully general description that might include anything from gore to tragic cancer patients, so - this is just a funny story about hospital bureaucracy. And by funny I mean tragic. But not in the cancer patient way. )

I would mention the hooded figures that normally hang around dog parks close to hospitals, but the town council has forbidden me to mention or even notice them, so I will not talk about them at all.

(Wouldn't it make more sense to let the one pharmacy the hospital is allowed to order medication from be one that isn't on hour away by car? Especially if there are ones so close by? O.O)

THAT'S WHAT I SAID. We can only get meds delivered on Tuesdays and Fridays, and it leads to Kafkaesque nightmares like this all the damn time. But apparently that pharmacy's cheaper or something.
