kind of serious/personal question.

Have you been feeling depressed lately? or noticed a lot of people around you are depressed?

I've been down lately, and so have a lot of my close friends. I was wondering if it was something a lot of people were going through at this point in the year/life/whatever.

my friends and I have been depressed, but that's par for the course with us. half of us are on antidepressants and the rest of us deal with it other ways.

Im sorry to hear :(

And I really feel you guys on this. I get so depressed when I feel like I am lacking forward momentum and this whole not having a job/inability to find meaningful and productive summer employment is really fucking getting to me. Meh.

Saturn return? Election letdown? The economy? The fact that I'm working 70-hour weeks for bozos who don't know what they're doing and don't care that I'm trying to do my absolute best for them?

Yeah, I'm feeling a little down.

Also, I'm turning 40 this year.

I've actually been doing way better because I worked so hard last year when I had a job that I got a bug refund on my tax return...I've learned to stop worrying about the economy. I'm a junior in college now, so by the time I finish up and go through grad school, Obama will have fixed the economy and cured cancer.
