I went to the first bike class yesterday. Its a 6-week class that teaches us how to repair/overhaul a bicycle. It was pretty fun. There were two employees there and about 6 people. I signed up for this thing call the Indoor Challenge 2006. Its a challenge/competition to ride a lot on the indoor bike trainer during the winter months. The challenge goes from november 1st to march 31st. I am currently in 12th place out of 28. That will surely change by monday evening. It ended up being a pretty good weekend. Friday night, I hung out with Teresa. We went out to dinner at Texas Roadhouse and had fun. Later that night, I hooked my bike up to the trainer that I bought. Its a cool little contraption that I hook the back wheel up to and it provides resistance so I can train this winter. Last night, after some plans had failed, I went to video-to-go and rented a Lewis Black dvd. I went home drank a little too much beer and watched the dvd. Flag football update: we won one! Finally! My sister even scored the game winning touchdown. We won 18-12. Things finally came together and tow of our good players didn't even show up. If we can get everyone there on the same week, we have a chance of winning more.

I was spared and so was the rest of the people in my department. So for now, I still have a job. They said that down-sizing is going to happen every 3-5 years. I'll be long gone by the time the next one happens.

Well, I'm still here but they are still making the rounds to different departments. I sat by the window while I was eatting my lunch and I watched as a guy from a different department that I worked with left. I lost my appetite. Today is the big day. I will find out if I still have a job after 2pm. I've done a lot of praying about it. If its God's will, then I'm okay with it.
