It's been less than I year since I went through this with my best friend, Willa's mother. The lymphatic system is strong and we are built for survival. Humans don't die gracefully. Watch for the mottling of her legs as her circulation fails. (I found that helpful to know when I was in your space and the nurses shared that with me). The end will be near that. My heart goes out to you. This is the hardest part in many ways.

Sending love and hoping for a swift ending.

I'm so sorry, that's really hard. A prolonged death really is one of the worst things in the world. I hope she manages to let go peacefully soon.
