The election

Stop complaing about Bush's win. Big deal. Look in history-we have never changed presidents in the middle of a war. So Kerry lost. Big friggin deal. Get. Over. It.

It isn't like he would have been any better, anyway.

And people wonder why I am not registered, sheesh.

how is she fighting? by sitting there and doing nothing? i can understand that all of this can be annoying, sifting through page after page of 'oh no bush won.' i felt the same way, when everyone was talking about the world series. but this DOES matter, and her not being registered to vote, as others have put it, gives her no right to complain, and absolutely no ability to fight any sort of power.

*hugs* Thanks, Shuyin-Chan. That is exactly what I meant. People tell me not to complain about it. I am not. I am complaining about the behavior over it (ie all the moving comments and whatnot).

And might I add that we did change presidents during Vietnam. I knoe we did. IT WAS BECAUSE NIXON FLIPPIN RESIGNED!!!!

Now that that is off my chest... *hugs again*

It is a big that Bush won. If Kerry had, then the Congress would be Republican and the President a dem, which would have prevented anything that was necessary from getting done. Bush wants to take away my rights to live my life the way I chose to, and that offends me. He wants to turn his religious beliefs into laws that we all have to follow and I can not support that, not because they disagree with mine, which they do, but because it goes against the first amendment and the principles that this country was founded on ( ... )

i agree with sarah, and just remember, if you did not vote, then you have ABSOLUTELY NO RIGHT to complain about the way the country is run for the next four years. you have conceeded the right to express your opinion, a right which our forefathers worked their asses off for. what good are checks and balances if two of the three branches are run with the same opinions in mind?

I am not complaining that Bush won. I am complaining that I am tired of hearing all the redundant "IT IS THE END OF THE WORLD!!!" comments. Because that is a little overdramatic.
