Do you believe you have a purpose? And if so what do you think it is? If not why or have you just not found it yet?

Do I believe I have a purpose... in a sense, yes. It lets me feels like there's a point to things. But at the same time, I figure life is just life, and thus I have no great 'my purpose in life is to ___'. Ties in with my being agnostic, I think.

very honest and thats what im looking for thank you after about a few days im going to post my reason for being here for the world to see.

Of course I have a purpose... I decided a long time ago that my purpose in life would be to make the world a better place than when I cam into it! This is also why I plan on becoming a teacher so I can directly effect the lives of many ... I figure it's the next best thing short of getting into politics or starting a revolution!

Ok Ok I know you Skipp and if it were feasible for you to be a god I'm pretty sure you would but my next question for you is if you were a "GOD" would you be happy with that or would you still want MORE?

If I could constantly be making change and constantly be bettering things then I would be happy, but that's a stupid question because I will never be a 'GOD'. Honestly, I dont' think that I can really answer this question because I've never had anything remotely close to everything I ever wanted... for that matte I don't really know exactly what I want.

i find myself typing, deleting, and retyping to try and answer this question with the thoughts that are in my mind..its very difficult-i feel like everyone has a purpose in this world-or at least should..but also i see this dichotomy between what i believe should be and what i think really is..i think i agree with contestant number one on this in saying that i think it is more of an idea that we made up to make ourselves feel like we arent doing this for no reason-that we arent pursuing the lives that we are just on a whim and a prayer..that we actually have some bigger reason for being here...do i have a purpose? i think yes and no..yes i am here to live out my life to the best of my ability and turn out better than i probably should..to be myself in the end..but thats more of a goal than a purpose..isnt it?

Some times Life is'nt easy and Finding a reason can be hard but its not some big thing it can be something as simple as cleaning up dog poop in the park cuz that might be what you the best at and you love it but look deep inside and see what you and you alone want.... To be continued????

Well, Life is completely relative and therefore, purpose in life is too. Due to my agnostic beliefs, I believe that you are not necissarily put here on earth for a particular purpose, but that the way to keep us sane is that we find a purpose...we find a purpose in a social setting. In that sense, we do have a purpose on earth...our purpose is to better man kind. But here is a question for you: have you ever wondered if the world as we know it is simply someone else's "tamagotchi"?

Purpose and happiness are one in the same. but to be Truly happy you must be true to what you want, and with no other outside influences.

We all have a purpose. Most of us will never see it though. When thinking of this question most think of the big important things they could do. Only a small few have a purpose in life that will forever change humanity. Some good some bad. and right now we could be doing with more of those good people. In all reality our only purpose is to live. We have our lives and those around us. In the end i think our only purpose is to find companionship, wiether it be a friend or more. And if fate allows for us to have a shot at being one of those great few then it is our duty to seize that and go for it, even if your on the dark side. I would love to say my purpose in life is to take over the world and rule as a beign king, and if that opportunnity comes well you better be on my good side. But i know that will never happen. Why, well I could say that nothing I ever wants ever happens, but truly i dont think that this world could go on to such a state in which that became possible. I would also love to say make the world a better ( ... )

Thats reall interesting but i beleve that a persons reason for being is what ever makes them happy a prsons porpose is not what they do its how they live...in my opinion

I would like to change my view. MY purpose is to bring pain. Appearently I can do nothing more than hurt myself and those around me so yeah fuck this. Im not even sure if im allowed now to write in this journal. Anthony Im sorry i am trying to work this out but right now i dont think its gonna happen. your too close and i dont want to seem like im trying to go through you. though i have thought maybe if we become friends things will change. everything is so raw.
