Driving yesterday was fine. In fact, the sun was out. It was snowing when we came home last night, but even then I was fine. I drove Jim's car since he was impaired and that was the plan. Jim and I cleaned part of the house yesterday. I feel good about the work that we have done, but I also know that we are not done just yet. Tonight I have to do dishes again and sort through a few things. Starting up the vacuum would be good too though I know that it will make the cats will hide.

I was pretty sure that the forecast said showers not deluge, and yet it was pouring like crazy when I got up at 5ish. This made for fun driving on the highway. I felt the panic start to creep up and I beat it back which I'm proud of ( Read more... )

Yesterday I found out that my grandmother has a nasty secondary infection which is making things very difficult for her already compromised immune system. I was going to visit her today, but I called my mother and she said that today was probably not the best of days. I'm going to hope that she gets better and I'll see her soon. Jim and I got home at about 7 tonight after 9 hours in the car. We left St John New Brunswick at 10 am EST though it was 11 am AST. That's one very long day. We wanted to see the reversing tides, but we should have gotten up earlier and we were not going to stick around all day long. That's too bad, but now we have a reason to go back. I just got to work after being at the gym for the third time this week. It's not enough, but I couldn't get up yesterday. I'll be going tomorrow for strength training and I'm going to try to get there on Sunday too. Monday for sure, so we'll see how the weekend goes.
