You never know what's behind someone's smile
I totally know this girl's mom.
Though I never knew that she had a daughter that was abducted. The kidnapped girl's mom is a secretary in my school district. I've talked to her tons of times, but it was always business. She's very nice. I'm glad she got her daughter back, even after all these years.

Future trip...
I know it's a few months away, but I just wanted to let all my Bay Area friends know that I will be up there October 1-7. I already have my flight and rental car booked! I finished Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows about 2:30 this afternoon. My brother and dad haven't finished yet, so I have no one to talk to about it in person. But I'm glad I devoted my weekend to reading it. No one can spoil it for me. :o)

Apartments are not condos...
Ok, so they are apparently planning on turning my apartment complex into condos. Total bullshit if you ask me. I enjoy living here, but there is no way I would buy one even if I could afford it. Sick me, Sicker puppy...
I have the flu despite getting a flu shot a few months ago. I guess they were wrong about what flus were going to show up here this year. I feel like shit.
