If you read this -- if your eyes are passing over this right now -- even if we don't speak often, please post a comment with a memory of you and me. It can be anything you want -- good or bad. When you're finished, post this little paragraph on your blog and be surprised (or mortified) about what people remember about you.

I seem to recall that you wrote Star Trek fan fiction, once upon a time. Not only that, but I recall helping you. 8-O

Hey! If you're into writing Star Trek Fan Fiction, you might be into "simming", which is what play-by-postal-mail collaborative Star Trek Fan Fiction writing has evolved into. It's kind of like roleplaying online, but not so heavily moderated. Let me know if you'd be interested. I don't have the time to run a sim or online game myself, but it'd be a way for us to game together.

To clarify, I'm not suggesting that this would require you to run one. There are thousands of active sims already out there and dozens of fleets. It'd be easy to join.

I recall a group of us riding through downtown Chicago in your GMC Jimmy after hanging out at some restaurant (where I had, as I recall, Jamaican Jerk Chicken) and a group of pedestrians, likely tourists, cut across the street in the middle of the block. Rather than honking your horn, you retained your wits and growled,

"You do not have the right of way! You are flesh, we are steel!"
