I think I'm going to have to buy one of the infernal devices known as Mobile Phones. I almost certainly won't use it much, making Pay As You Go cheaper- but does anyone have any advice as to who to buy a cheap but reliable one from? ("Features" other than SMS don't worry me that much).

I've just been ordered to take more leave. I've got About 20 days to burn in the next three months.

Update: Apparently Asteroid 2004MN4 is going to miss the earth by a minimum of 64,000 km. It still rates a 1 on the Torino Scale, but I'm not too worried by a chance of hitting of 3.6*10-5 in 2053.
