New song, yay. Actually, new version of one of the first songs I ever wrote. Recorded with a great quality microphone that I borrowed.

I've recorded a song a month for the past three months, which makes me really happy. I hope I can keep up this momentum.

Neat stuff mate. The main vocal is a bit loud though, but that's probably just due to bad mixing. :) Try experimenting with singing the song in slightly different timbres. Not only is it good vocal training, but you'll get more of a feel of things that could work and set it apart from similar artists.

Also, I love the lyrics. English majors for the win.

Bottom line: The track reminds me of a stripped down and depressed Mates of State. Mind you, that's a compliment in my book.

I agree on the vocal track after listening a few times. I'm finding mixing the toughest part of the process. Followed by singing!

Any comparison to the Mates makes me happy!
