Blackbeard, the most feared and reviled pirate in the world? He killed men at random just because he could. He was steeped in black magics and had very little soul left, by the end. I had no choice, child, but to serve aboard his ship as a common deckhand. That was right before the Malnosso brought me back here.

So there is still magic there, huh... [Magic is something she's also curious and wary about. Mostly because, well, Harth is so interested in it. But that second pare is interesting] But damaged his soul? Magic can do that?

Pommy has friends who are part-demon. And Pommy helped defeat the demon god Sthertoth when he tried to take over the universe! [Good luck getting helpful details about them out of this guy, though.]

His name was Sthertoth, the Demon of the Dark, and he was trying to [and here Pommy makes use of his mimicry ability to imitate Sthertoth's growly evil voice; he manages to go surprisingly low considering his normally high-pitched tones] shroud the universe in darkness! [Normal voice back on!] But then the goddess of justice, Mihaele, showed up, and she and Sthertoth merged into the Angel of Light and Shadow, the creator of the universe.

There's not a lot to say, really.

[She said to the writing on the page]

Well, we had one kind that could infect people. And then there were older, different ones, that were mostly only talked about in myths.

Why did you ask?

None in my world, just the odd human doing depraved and/or horrific acts.

And you're putting them in connex with demons?

[That writing is more familiar]

...I don't know. It's all I can compare it with, but it's not much of a comparison, is it.

Is and isn't. Lurks feel different. A human's bad 'cus of who they are, lurk's bad 'cus of what they are.
