28 Weeks.

Meh. Still pregnant. I'm really tired all of the time, and I've been coughing for the last 2 weeks due to either a virus or allergies.  4 days off makes a very lousy paycheck.  Tabby is all excited about the baby. I really dislike being pregnant.  I still feel sick, I have insulin dependent Gestational Diabetes, and I'm getting bigger than a beached whale.  We did get some good news today.  Our risk for Down Syndrome dropped from 1 in 75 to  1 in 500 which is pretty good.  Doctor says that getting the 20 week ultrasound should be enough.

I found two replacments for Tabby's doggy.  You would have no idea how relieved and happy I am.  After searching for a week straight and myriad posts to LJ and Craigslist, I walk into a 7-Eleven and there was not 1 but 2 of them there on the plushie display.  Consider me stunned.  We bought both, of course :)

On nights like tonight, where I'm up, but everyone else is sleeping, I ponder things that I probably shouldn't be pondering. I also wonder where my childhood friends are, and what they are up to, even though I haven't spoken to them in near 20 years. I'm suffering from insomnia again. I woke up at 330 and couldn't get back to sleep.  Just alot of stuff going through my head.

Last week I finally went to see an allergist about my allergies. Turns out I'm allergic to everything they tested me for EXCEPT saline and molds. All trees, weeds, grasses, dust mites, dog, cat and cockroach. Fun, eh?

Charlie is coming home from Portland tomorrow. The condo has not been this clean since we first moved in (well, at least the kitchen, living room and dining area). C. left on his business trip today. I've been feeling restless since he left. I want to play Rock Band but it's not as much fun with only 1 person. Apathy is strong enough to deter me from picking up the books I reserved at Borders. Tabby is watching Pingu. Charlie broke down and bought me the Guitar Hero World Tour Bundle, and Rock Band 2 (just the game). And yes, the Guitar Hero instruments do work with Rock Band 2......
