Buying houses

So, we opened Escrow on a place today, a 2bdr, 1 bath in Newark. Our offer is 265,000. Now we're just waiting on the Seller's bank to accept. The place is really cute! But now I'm antsy because, well, WE'RE BUYING A HOUSE!

Mom's even helping us with the down payment! It's just a little condo, but it'll be all ours!

That's a good price. I'm sitting on things now. I can't afford 550,000 for a 2 bed, 1 ba built in the 40's house. Hope things work out real good for you!
