I love budget Vegas!

Much more fun than fancy vegas.

I have a Prius which pretty much stands out like a sore thumb here, but gets excellent mileage and has great acceleration which is nice for overtaking fucking people in their U-Hauls going 50 in a 70 zone. Also has cruise control which is essential because it likes to go fast and I found myself accidentally going 96 miles per hour in a 70 which could have found me in some trouble.

Vegas is a lot of fun. Downtown hotels are excellent and cheap. There are cheap public bus routes from the airport to downtown.

It can be really good value to "gamble", if you only burn $1 at a 1c poker machine at a quiet casino, because by then they'll have given you a free drink or two.

You can easy find drinks for a dollar anyway, so it's not a problem.
