I was supposed to be studying for a test all this afternoon, but as usual when I have something important to do, I was suddenly seized by the desire to bake a chocolate cream pie. Did the pie work out in the end?? It sounded delicious. What you were experiencing is what we call "studieontwijkendgedrag" hehe, and I always have to fight this as well ( ... )

Ooooh, yes. Unfortunately too well-- my roommate has already eaten almost half! I'm gonna have to put it in a box with a padlock on it or something... ;-)

When will you be arriving here?

If all goes well, somewhere in the first two weeks of June. I'm still waffling as to the exact date... Part of me wants to hop on a plane the day after I graduate (May 22), and part of me wants to prolong leaving so that I have lots of time to say goodbye to people and places. But I *do* need to get over there ASAP, so that I can start applying for my verblijfsvergunning, since that takes ages and ages. :)

Me too!! I still feel really guilty about how last time didn't work out, and I reallyreallyreally would love to get together before you go running off to the US! :) I'll let you know as soon as my plans are more nailed down, so we can figure out a time/place to meet up. It's a good lineup, and Werchter in general is a great festival. Though, this year I (well, we) decided to go to TW Classic (also in Werchter, same organisation, but only one day and mostly older or more easy listening bands).

Lowlands is mijn favoriete festival. Lekker drie dagen kamperen, drinken, bands kijken. Heerlijk....

Ja, daar heb ik ook al veeeel over gehoord. Nog nooit geweest jammer genoeg. Als ik ooit heel veel geld heb, hoef ik niet meer te kiezen welke festivals ik ga doen :p

Lowlands is E110 incl. camping
Werchter (voor alle dagen) is E112, excl. E15 camping.

Allebei even duur dus. Maar ik neem aan dat je niet alle dagen naar Werchter gaat. Maar ik geef liever E110 voor een heel weekend uit, dan E55 voor 1 dag.
