WOW, that's an amazing-sounding dinner! I never considered putting butter on the turkey, but I bet that makes it a lot better. especially since I find turkey bland and dry usually anyway, and butter makes everything delicious. also, those green bean bundles sound really delicious. my mom is no cook, so we just had a few mediocre things. so anyhow, what I'm trying to say is I'm very impressed! heh.

Thanks! I just wish I could make it seem as effortless as my mom does... I am not a half-bad cook if you just look at the end result, but by the time I have finished I am stressed out and irritable, have taken six times as long as normal person, and made a terrible mess. :-P

And butter does indeed make everything better! I normally find turkey breast really dry, but if you stuff a whole bunch of butter between the meat and the skin, it permeates the meat while cooking and makes it sooo yummy. :)

That's great you made a Thanksgiving dinner and let those Dutchies experience how you celebrate it :) Seems you had a great time :)

I definitely had a good time, but I am glad Thanksgiving comes only once a year-- it was sooo much work! :) It really was fun to let the Dutchies spend an evening surrounded by new foods, traditions, and customs, though-- I'm always the one who has to adjust to their way of doing things, so it was nice to be on the opposite end for once! :)
