The relationship between me and my sister hasn't been the easiest one either (still isn't) but I too have had to realize that only complain about it to myself and some others and feel disappointed and miserable about it doesn't help any. So sometimes I try to speak to her about it, and things have gotten a lot better between us. We even take dancelessons together now =) Which I really love cause this gives us at least a tiny little bit of time together each week, instead of trying to get some of her attention for months without much luck. (it has been that bad while we never lived that far apart from eachother.. long story heh).

I am glad to hear you two had a great evening together. Hopefully some more sisterly time can be spend together before you fly back to this side of the pond.

'Typical teenage behaviour'? My parents did the exact same thing when I returned home for a longer period of time (I'd been home during the weekends before, but I'm usually more or less constantly on the road then, visiting friends and such before returning to Germany) during my Christmas break. >_>;
