Today was a new patient visit with the new doctor.

I took a laundry list of issues. I didn't even get through them though... she was done listening after the edema and the discharge/menopausal issues I've been having. I mean Done. Listening. As in Finished.

I am having a worse-than-usual pain day, despite the sunny, mild weather. It was bad enough to mar my enjoyment of an otherwise nice day spent mostly driving and walking/trying to walk around Back Bay.

An oak dining table! I have two oak chairs, so the oak table would be perfect for my nook. $35. I'm going tomorrow to pick it up, I hope!

I set up my massage table in the spare (now: massage) room. I put the table warmer on it, and plugged it in. Then I thought, you know, the cats like it a lot when I leave the table warmer running for them, so I put an extra sheet on the table so the cat fur won't build up on my fleece and turned the warmer on ( Read more... )

I have some boxes (old files from the office and the like) that I don't plan to unpack, and they've found a home in the spare bedroom closet, along with my holiday decorations. I'm down to half of a box and some sundry items in my dining area now; almost ready to go buy a thrift-store kitchen table so I can be civilized when I eat ( Read more... )

I think there was drama this week, what was it?... oh yes there was drama. Students showed up late for clinic and the clinic instructor had a meltdown and I had to mediate and discipline the students at the same time.

Somehow discipline isn't as fun applied in the line of work.
