Went to the local yard sales today. My partner played with a Millennium Falcon so animatedly that the guy almost took back the offer. Who knows why I go to these things. I like auctions better. Spent the day with Zoey and ran into the music therapist - readily identifiable since she was carrying a guitar through a hospital. Plus, I can spot that look anywhere, similar to the art student look, the frat boy look, and so on ( Read more... )

So I found out that my dad's cancer is spreading. They found some in his lower spine the other day. He has such a high threshold for pain, and in his opinion what he doesn't know won't hurt him. Even at 3 lbs., Zoey seems to be quite the escape artist...the nurses had her in a normal snuggly. She got out of that, pulled the tape off of her face, pulled entire vent tube out of her body, and tried to escape her pod!
