I don't know that yesterday was particularly magical, although I did unexpectedly see several people I knew while I was sitting at the Laughing Goat and knitting. The armwarmer pair is very near completion. They look terrific. I'm going to borrow a camera and take pictures before I pass them on to their new owner ( Read more... )

I have my third and final internship interview tomorrow morning early. And it involves a rather lengthy drive at morning rush hour. But I think it'll fabulous and I think I would REALLY like to be at this site ( Read more... )

I got to sit in the interview circle this afternoon for perspective students who are interested in coming into the program I'm in at Naropa. Sitting in these circles are such a great reminder of hoe much I've grown over the last 2 plus years. Almost exactly two years ago, I sat in that interview circle as a perspective student. So after freaking out in snotty-faced tears the past two nights, I turned in my fourth (and final?) internship application this afternoon. I found out via email last night that I didn't even get called for an interview at one of the sites I applied for. I'm not super bummed about it, except that I thought that would've been the easiest site for me ( Read more... )

I'm exhausted.
Spent all day nannying a 2 year old with some attachment issues. Every time mom left the room she'd start to cry. Good news is that by the end of the day we could play for almost an hour without her running to mom and crying.
