Hi

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can get my youngest daughter, about to turn 1, for her birthday? Her sister, my eldest, will be 2 shortly after so we already have toyboxes full of regular toys. I am wanting to get something a little different (or possible make if it doesnt take too long to construct).

Megan was born last night at 11.50pm weighing in at 6 lb 11 oz. The labour was a lot harder this time round, it didnt establish until 8pm ish after the waters were broken just before 11am. Kymbogs will be going into hospital to have our second child tomorrow so things are going to be a bit hectic over the next week or so.

I am going to be made redundant at the end of next month. The financial adviser I work for is downsizing and will not need the extra office staff that I represent to the company. After hearing PM Gordon Browns plans to make the Organ Donation system in the UK an Opt-out instead of Opt-in I was generally in favour of the change. I carry a Donor card and have done since I was 18. But the plans the government are actually talking about will mean that the NHS will have quotas on how patients they convert into donors. Last night I had a dream heavy with religious imagery. As a non-theist my dreams never contain anything so strongly tied to a particular religions mythology, unless I have just watched a film or TV show with same as this will influence the imagery in my dreams ( Read more... )
