I might not wait till after the A's to do this though. Think I'll start hunting for one after the prelims!

...Gosh, I'm putting on weight, no thanks to the awfully sedentary lifestyle I now lead.

Revise and polish up my Japanese. Then take the JLPT 2 (again; it'll be my 2nd attempt) and PASS (...I'd failed by a couple of marks previously >: sigh.)

Attend as many Performances in the Park as I can.

...Preferably the ones with Free Admission because I'm sure my piggy bank would disagree otherwise.

Also, grab those opportunities to watch performances at the Esplanade! Will have to save plenty for that, of course.

Visit Fort Canning Park at night, and find those broad steps I'd picnicked on with my family years ago (are they still there? Haven't been to Fort Canning in ages ( Read more... )

I'll pick up ballroom dance, probably at NUS,and it won't matter even if there are older folks about.

A few days back, I suddenly recalled a song I'd heard from a movie shown on TV some years back. I googled the title, found a few versions of the song, but couldn't quite decide which was the right one. So I googled some more, and eventually found my way here-- The 10th Kingdom! Handover was today. We started out all a little sad about having to say goodbye to this lovely little family of a CCA, but the handover programme really got us up and happening again. I'm glad we did not have a tearful parting, as was the weather forecast for the evening ( Read more... )
