I am probably one of the few on my friends list that did not want Obama as president. As someone that does quite well financially, this will be a big blow to my bottom line ( Read more... )

Not to get personal, but $250k well??

And even if you are at $250k well, all that happens is your taxes go back to what they were under Clinton (if I understand this all correctly.)

Actually, taxes are a funny subject for me. I should write a whole post on that topic. :)

But in short, there is more than just your AGI at the end of the fiscal year. It is also about growing your investments over time. I think that is what will be affecting me more.

I've had a decent promotion back in June. I am one step away from Director of Support at a decent computer company. :)

I'll be coming back to LJ after my little hiatus. So I look forward to reading and responding to people's posts again.

Glad you're doing well, but you didn't answer the question. ;-)~

You know, the majority of folks making over 250k voted Obama. Isn't it ironic that the blue-collar whites that would have benefited under Obama's tax structure overwhelmingly voted mccain. Now you have to ask yourself, what exactly is the connection between money and intelligence? I guess you have to look for the subtle nuances.
