why do people litter?

I was commuting home tonight stuck behind a tow truck. All of a sudden, someone in the passenger side threw a Styrofoam cup out the window onto the street. Why?! You really couldn't just wait the ten minutes?

Some human emotions I can understand (even if I don't agree with them). But littering? Just doesn't make sense.

I've always been drawn to Egypt since I was a wee lad. Recently I have been "watching" a 48 part series on Egypt on my commute home. I say watching in double quote as I am indeed driving, so I do not get distracted. Luckily the professor is just lecturing, so I rarely get distracted looking up at beautiful temples and obelisks and such ( Read more... )

It is weird when in retrospect LiveJournal is one of the better choices. I am already tired of Buzz, and Facebook was always a failure. Myspace was just too gawdy and I couldn't stand people playing bad music via flash when I visited their page.
