Everyone but me seems to be asleep. I foolishly drank coffee this evening, but at least the homework is done and my Girl Scout troop is registered

I imagine that on metal stairs they would be very dangerous and slippery. She probably tripped because she was trying to read the sign. Ugh, what an awful way to learn a lesson.

Yeah, she was actually trying to balance an armload of books and some soup. She now has 50 stitches (down side) but her bone isn't showing anymore (up side) and I'm sure there are decent pain meds involved.
I say we have a big sandal burning party. This town may be small enough....

You could make national headlines!! ;) I've never been particularly fond of those shoes. They just don't look that attractive to me. I hope they gave good pain meds because that is soooo going to hurt.

That injury sounds just horrible! I love my flip flops and rarely wear anything else outside of work during the summer months. I guess I should be careful on stairs!
