I still can't get over the fact that things aren't better than they were before, and at least before, I didn't have to feel it.This is the last thing I wrote on Live Journal a little over six months ago. The flaw in this statement’s logic is that it doesn’t take into consideration the issue of progression

It's good to hear from you! I'm so glad you're getting better - slowly but certainly. Just keep going..stay sober for one minute more. Your talent is yours, not the bottle's.

OMG. I am so glad to hear from you!!! I've been very concerned (I don't know if you got the messages I left, but I called you a couple times.) I even just posted the other day that I missed you... so to read your words again has brightened my day. Yes, I know that probably wasn't the response you expected to this post... but you have brightened my day because you are in it. I'm happy you are there, you are alive, you are taking care of yourself and you're taking steps toward recovery. It's a long road but you just have to take it one step at a time (as lame as that sounds.) Just one more minute... and go from there.

And you've not lost all your friends... we might not be "real" but we're still here. And I am truly thankful to read your words again. *big hugs*
