Eek, 16th October? Are you doing anything for it? I believe I'm already booked to be at another person's birthday that evening (damn short notice things!) but let me know if you're thinking of organising summat. Getting my Dolls tickets as soon as I decide whether I want to go on the Friday or Saturday. Both have their charms...
The plan for my birthday (which I was going to email people about later) is to go out for drinks in Dulwich on Saturday (14th) and possibly on to Slimelight's Trad Floor special afterwards.
I think we're going to Blood & Velvet (another Trad-ish night, in the place D&B used to be) on the 20th, so I may not feel like a party on the 21st. Or getting out of bed on the 21st if it comes to that.
Go on Saturday!! It's the best day, gives loads of time to get ready and means you can also do a Friday night out and make a weekend of it. I was undecided but I think I will be going on Sat now, so I can really enjoy it.
Frustratingly, this Saturday is tricky as it's Polyday and I already have a ticket to see Peaches in the evening :¬(
I've been quite keen to check out Blood & Velvet, so if I'm not in Brighton (have been invited and really ought to go, friend I don't see enough of), I will come to that, otherwise I shall just have to pop over and buy you a drink some time during the week, eh?
Argh. Actually, looks like Peaches is on Friday, so it's possible I might be persuadable for something after I finish up at POlyDay this Sat. Will talk to you about this closer to the time.
What do you think about this Thu, btw? Looks potentially kinda fun, i think.
