Spam Posters

I am sure everyone has noticed that for whatever reason this LJ community has become the target of spam-bot profiles. This isn't the only. For whatever reason they have also picked my nanoljers community. I am wondering if maybe we should modify the account so that posting has to be approved and we can all just leave a post saying that we are real

I think there is an LJ option that can be set, so that a posting person has to fill up one of those "checking if you are a real person" puzzles..... Please see the settings for the community or journal, which ever. It should be there.

I don't think the captchas are working. The most recent spam post broke my flist. By which I mean, posts that aren't that post only show up if I do /friends?skip=1.
