Two hairwashings later and I still smell the riiver
What an incredible day. Way to the awesome. Annual company canoe trip and cookout and this year I was actually able to canoe! I've not been in a canoe since I was just a wee tot so that was cool even the river is way low now (hence the river funk). We only went a few miles on the easy bits because it was too shallow to do the shoals. ( Read more... ) -

Whoa. I'm beat. Today I've:- Washed, dried and folded a butt-ton of laundry
- Straightened up the house, gathered up the recycling, made the bed, scrubbed the loo.
- mailed a package for the hubby
- got my oil changed
- ran a buncha errands

Writer's Block: Sharing is Caring
Blargh. Stupid interface. Anyway, I hate sharing my political views with others in my hometown. I get weird looks when I espouse the opinion that EVERYONE is entitled to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, adn not just rich white folks. Although, in hindsight, that makes me sound a bit narrow, as well. Can't win.

Dude, that kind of sucks
I have got to start posting more often. Yeesh. I kind of suck at this. Life's been the same old pattern; work, home, work, home, rinse, repeat. Things I never need to purchase again as they are apparently breeding and reproducing in my pantry:- noodles of any kind
- graham cracker crumbs (I bake a cheese cake and forget that I have them in there and then go buy more for the next one, I guess)
- taco shells
