Jessie had never been a very refined Blastoise. But even in this world of double crossing, she had kept a very select few close to her; those she trusted apart from the Boss like James, Frankie, Sonny and Cassidy...to have one of them announce their plans, breaking what fragile anchor to the world she had, it sent her off to the deep end. That morning she had rampaged all over the city, breaking necks, laughing mechanically, drawing blood from those she could, escaping the law around her.
Eh he he he he he....Not that there was much of a law anymore. The entire city seemed to have gone mad! Robots and dark creatures and even a rival group claiming to be team rocket...but there could only be one. If Jessie was going to die tonight, she'd kill the most people with her. Watch them suffer like she was suffering right now! How dare he! How dare they! Thinking they could fight them! The thought of loosing! Impossible! She'd take them all! She'd sink them with her, tearing away the sinew and muscle until only the bloodied bones remained

Anyone with even the vaguest sense of self-preservation would have turn tail and fled at the sight of a giant rampaging deathturtle. Especially if they happened to be a fire-type. The moment he heard those heavy footfalls echoing, fragile little runt Kerosene would have immediately made himself scarce.
There was no room for fear in his heart anymore. Not when he was still reeling from the loss of his trainer. The wound was still too fresh for him to acknowledge anything beyond the endless empty space that Aiden had once filled. The sight of a Blastoise brought him nothing more than a few wistful memories of Torrent's smiling face, back home in Fuchsia City.
He should have run. Instead, he simply kept walking forward, hungry, hollow eyes not moving from Jessie's face.
Whoever this kid was, he was as good as dead. At least according to Jessie. Funny how the thought of killing children didn't even cause her to flinch, as she turned towards him, a maddened grin creeping up on her face. There was a murmur of some sort that emitted from her mouth, either a warning or what sounded like crazy laughter from a creature not built to be laughing, but in a few strides, he had caught up to her prey, circling the boy to inspect him. After all, she'd be a terrible Rocket if she didn't access the situation at first. See how strong or weak they could be.
A tail.
A tail on fire.
A tail on fire?
A tail on fire!
A tail!
A tail a tail a tail!
A taaaaaaaiiiiil on fiiiiiiiiire!
Fire! Fire fire fire!
Charmeleon? Charizard? Charmander?
Oooh it didn't matter!
It was a tail on fire!
A child!
It burns, but not for long!
Water beats Fire.
Water is supreme.
Water.
Beats.
Fire.
No more fire.
Death.
End.
Gone. Her breathing slowed, as she finally stopped circling. She knelt down and slowly pushed towards

Kerosene fell back with a shriek, hands flying up to his face. As inexperienced as he was at going human, the shock and sudden searing pain were enough to break his transformation, leaving nothing more than a tiny Charmander where a human had been moments ago.
His eyes were burning, and not just from the steam. He was alone. A Charmander couldn't survive alone. He couldn't fight, couldn't take care of himself. He was weak. But there was no Aiden anymore. Nobody was going to save him. This Blastoise was going to kill him. He was already aware of this fact.
He was surprised by how little the realization shook him.
Kerosene stood up again, tried to ignore the stinging. "That didn't hurt," he told her.
"You're making this waaaay to easy, kid," she spat out. With a swift violent motion, she raised her leg and was about to kick his face in when...something seemed to stop her.
Water?
Water is wrong.
Am I not I?
Am eye not I?
Flames....
NO! I am perfect.
The lost look was quickly replaced by the crazed one again and she grabbed the poor lizard with only one hand, giving him an effortless spinning and threw him into the air.
"Do you think you can fly? Your kind only gets wings at the end, but you don't have them! Who's going to save you as you fall to the ground huh?...HUH?! You're weak. So, so weak. And in nature the weak are destroyed by the strong."
