Come on people.  Surely some of you have something more substantial to say then 420 characters.  Now I am a frequent abuser of Facebook, as any of you who read this certainly already know.  I enjoy its recurrent, headline based nature and its capacity for the exchange of quick witticisms, but come on.  How much can you convey in a stunted paragraph

this is why we need to get together in small groups -- so we can actually communicate to one another :) Otherwise there's no real information exchange happening! I agree. woo. Now I feel like I should make this longer so it doesn't look stupid. ummm.....
