Yeah, he's a pretty horrible maintainer. Part of it is the fact that he really doesn't care how good the communities are (which is why conservatism has so few comments and so many horrible posts nowadays) and part of it is that he doesn't really have anyone to keep him in check - especially since he's de facto the only maintainer in both communities.

It's pretty sad, he and Lance used to be well-respected because they were thoughtful and called bullshit on both sides. I don't know what happened there.
