Mom: I got 4 forks 4 plates, 2 with puppies.
Me: How cute! Like baby plates?
Mom: No tectonic plates. I am hoping he grows up to be a seismologist.
It's a special kind of person that can work seismology in to a zing. -
Lots of photo ops the past 12 hours!
Went to the beach to watch fireworks last night! We were a little concerned because it had been raining all day, but we were rewarded with a lovely rainbow.

Well after my freak out, it turns out everything is fine. There really is a little gummy-bear-looking-thing in there, and it's where it's supposed to be and it has a heartbeat and everything. I'm stoked.

the Mystery CD's
So I found these 4 CD's in my glove box last night, hidden underneath various manuals where they have undoubtedly been since I bought the car used over 3 years ago. One was labeled "Depeche Mode", then "5 Songs O' Love", "24-7" and "Therapy"
