Ok, so I have been a bad monkey and haven't blogged in a while. Anyways in Alaska since Sunday, get to go home tomorrow, yay! Its actually been warmer than MN for the most part, and I am in Anchorage, did spend 2 days in Fairbanks though. I was told I was within 100 miles of the Artic Circle

Yup, you were that close to the Arctic circle.

There are Amtgard groups in both of those cities and I lived in Anchorage during my teen years. The main thing I remember about winter is that your car needs a block heater and there were plug ins all the way down the parking lot for the cars...what fun. You need to get there in the summer, though and see some of the sights.
