So I got my notebook back from the depot and the first thing I noticed was my hard drive partitions are screwed up. Because HP told my wife to break my laptop. I had been having some issues lately with my HP, crashes, infinite loops, core dumps, and personal favourite failure to power up. Finally got the letter from niagara college for the payment plan for the hotel management program, total tuition $3900+ a full $800 more then the photonics course, due November 16th.  all it took was a proverbial slap upside the head to move me to action that I had already decided to do but was stalling on.

Tomorrow I am withdrawing from Photonics and enrolling in the much more practical and much more likely successful Hospitality Hotel and Restaurant management program.

Fek, I just can't seem to focus. I have homework that I need to work on and I just can't  get started or motivated to do anything. I am likely going to skip my first class tomorrow just so that I can sleep as I am so very tired lately.

Well my osap finally showed up on monday. Just in time for me to have to figure out how to replace the now fried husk of Tressie's desktop, still not sure how I am gonna do that as I obviously have to deal with books parking and other various bills and tasks to do first ( Read more... )

You know it only stands to reason that if I chose a program because I have an interest in it that I should have at least one class that I enjoy taking. It would stand to reason. in reality though between courses that I hate (namely my communications course) professors with accents that are rather thick and classes that I blatantly don't understand ( Read more... )
