And now for something completely different...

I'm about four days behind on my Nano Novel. I just don't know what the characters are going to do. Well, that's not entirely accurate. I know what my characters are going to do in the long run -- just not for the next 20k words. I haven't even endeavored to write any long fiction in I don't know how long -- I'm used to writing short stories. I can ( Read more... )

No, I said that the first Monday write-in had writing. I can't speak to this Monday's since I was sitting here going insane trying to erach the goal Mandy so generously set for both of us.

Um..yeah, I'm exactly who you think I am. The "Jonathan" of our evil trioe plotting to take over Sunnydale, or as Mandy has called me "the third wheel in a tricycle".

I will probably also friend you with my writing journal, but that one's a bit more obvious that it's me...

I'm going to have two girls die off while trying to take over the world...

Oh well, I'll be left in charge. :)

The Mandy is actually the one who tried to blame it on me -- she went on Monday night and commented on how she actually got something done without me there. *sniffle*

Ah..because I had said something similar in IRC about the Ballard write-in. :)

And we aren't reliving history. We're making our own. ;)

But you can still think a vulcanologist studies Spock if you want!

If we get nothing wriiten when you're around, it's only because of your wit and charm.

Excuse me. I'm not that much of a Star Trek fan!

Ooooh. That's a good line. You can stay. ;)

no-Microsofties are good because there's a much lower chance you're ever going to have to threaten to set them on fire. :)

hope the novel is moving along.

Now, is that "No - Microsofties don't need to be set on fire" or "NON-Microsofties don't need to be set on fire"?

:)

The novel is stumbling through, trying to develop a plot and characters. I have a setting, now.

20k words by Friday. (I have nice delusions.)

When did you start slutting it up on LJ again? What brought on this sudden burst of internet communication? Weren't you supposed to call last weekend? Am I addicted to speaking in questions? Should I get back to work now? Is this endearing or just obnoxious? Is it Friday yet? Should I go get coffee, or am I caffinated enough? Have I asked enough questions?

I think so...

Last weekend got extraordinarily busy. BUT I hopefully will have a bit of time this weekend to make you laugh, cry, and generally wish that you lived closer to me.

And you should never go back to work. It is a bad place. *shudder*

You got busy, eh? Is that the part that is going to make me cry or laugh?

I know, I'm a horrible girl, but that's why you adore me.

And I love where I work. They treat me well here. Free food, a manager with a sense of humor, fantastic cubemates (yess, cubemates)... who could ask for more? Well... more money would be nice... but I'm not going to be too picky.

you should *always* go get coffee. I don't know you but I know that coffee is always part of the answer.
