Ouch! Least everyones OK and the truck will be replaced. The other driver must have been going hard to knock the stuffings out of a big'un like that Ford. Glad again everyones safe.

I'm glad everyone is OK, and that they were driving the Expedition. Those things can take a lot!

Also, this is why every time I call a parent about their kids, the first thing I say after I introduce myself is "don't worry, your [son|daughter] is just fine..."

I don't know if they're going to decide - the fact that the responding officer explicitly declined to ticket either party has some weight, I think. However, since the Moose was turning left and the other car was coming straight through or turning right, the other car would seem to have had the right-of-way. Moose said he was sure the kid had stopped and then accelerated forward.

Accidents of any kind are pretty scary, but I'm glad everyone is okay.
