KEEP the emails, keep EVERYTHING! Especially about the one where she asked you to infringe a copyright. That won't make her look good in court.
Also, if you have the receipts for the computers (proof that she didn't pay for them) you're good on that. As for the outfits, how did you FORCE her to buy those outfits using her money? Did you ever ask her to get you anything?
The only thing she ever bought me with money that was hers was my iPod, and that was a birthday present. Yes, I use it.
Every piece of clothing I have ever purchased was done with either my money or my parents' money. She bought me a few t-shirts and pants, but always with my money.
I want to respond to this. But.. I cant. I want to say things that are so incredibly volatile. I want to spew forth a bunch of curse words. I want to scream at her.
I am sorry you have to watch me go through this, dear. I screwed up royally and now I am paying for it. Well, hopefully i can get out of actually PAYING, but still...
Nope, she is just paying for everything for her. All off the books I guess you'd say. Supporting her without giving her a dime, and they made her spend all $9k that was left of this year's money, so it's all gone.
Yeah, I intend to give my lawyer all kinds of details on Monday so hopefully he can get her lawyer to back down before this gets really expensive for me :/
Arg.I can imagine how frustrating this is for you. Take a deep breath, then take one more. Don't worry over this too much until you speak with your lawyer.
After all, your lawyer can push back. And, if you try to remain calm and civil with your ex, perhaps you can change her mind. You catch more flies with honey than vinegar and all that rot.
After this shitstorm has ended, then you can unleash unholy terror on her. Til then, remember the big picture, keep it in view and know that it'll be over soon.
If you need to talk or hang out, let us know. You're welcome to hang out anytime - I just hope you're not allergic to dogs or cats. :)
