That's rough. Have you talked him about the possibility of rehab?

Too much Pride to admit problems..

Tried that, think thats the route my mom is going. Saying I'll put you in rehab and thats your only option. Will he go, I'm not sure. Will it matter, chances are not. He is too far spoiled now to work and make a living on his own. Maybe he will get clean, but he'll never make his own without hand outs. Nor will he stay clean without someone watching him all the time.

That's really rough Devin. It must be hard on your parents, I mean even if it's what they need t must be difficult to turn away your own children.

He reminds me of some of the kids I dealt with when I worked at a youth shelter in Hamilton. Adults but not really capable of keeping their lives in order. Some of them managed to keep each other on track though. Maybe rehab is his best option. He'd make friends there and they might keep him honest.

I can only hope..

He's a little stubnurn when it comes to other people saying what they've done. He believes he's had it hard, and no one can tell him different. I wish he could see some of the things that people have really gone through. Might wake him up. I think he would take rehab like a free vacation, but who knows. I think he might do that in Fredricton, then hopefully wake up and get busy livin.
