I talked with jack and it was a good feeling to here that he is the same. I wasnt mad, upset, or anxious, just a little sad and glad at the same time. Well he is finally going to be here! I am really looking forward to his visit and I think he is too. I stll have some apprehention that I hope I can get rid of this visit and I hope Trevor has a good time with his brother too. He will be staying at Trev's, but will be with me next weekend when we go visit John and Chanda. I hope the weather holds

a boiled dinner sounds very bland, however the corned beef makes it really great. It is hard to mess up this meal and it serves as many people as you want to invite. Sliced corned beef makes great sandwiches too.

This week was soo long it felt like two. I am taking it easy this weekend and next week. I have lot of things to catch up at home and am getting anxious about them which means i need to get to them. Life is such a wonderful thing for us humans. Just when you are comfortable and thinking all is well and you have it under control, it hits you between the eyes. Whammm! Whopp! Plopp! ugh..everyone had a bath and grooming today. dingleberries in cat fur is not nice and bacchus was not happy about it either..:D

Well, I have decided to get rid of the bad kidney. I am haveing too many other complications the longer I keep it. If I can stay healthier with one than two, the bad one can go. Quality of life is a big issue in this decision and really does matter.

I am celebrating today because V got her acceptance letter...YEAAAAAA!!!! A carrot cake is just the thing to be great and partly healthy..heeheehee. I will only have one piece for me, and one for her and one....

I had a very low key holiday season and I am still sighing with relief that it is almost over. I wonder if I didnt do anything for the holidays if I would be just as stressed by that? Hummm I think I will just have another piece of pie before I start on my new year diet! OH!! coffee just arrived in the mail...great timing..

Christmas is almost here and I have finally mailed all the boxes and sent all the cards. What a great feeing. And I still have more to do...have to get food for dinner and cheese cake.
