the funeral is tomorrow. ugh. in the morning before we go to it i have to go to the bank to pay in the rent money. pain in the backside.

we have a lovely new double bed and last night we put brand new bed covers and a brand new sheet on it! it's sooo lovely.

 dave just microwaved his noodles without any water in the bowl (accidently).

the kitchen filled with acrid smoke which has spread to the rest of the house, we're all walking around coughing!

honestly. he needs supervision.

ahh we have a new bed, yay! we got it from the Lee Longlands Clearance Store in Merry Hill, bed was reduced from £899 to £349 and the mattress was only £199, it's Dreamworks one as well! really chuffed, it came yesterday and we slept on it last night and man it's so much bigger than our three-quater sized one ( Read more... )

 it's 5.48am, an hour ago we got the call to say dave's grandad has passed away.

rip Warren Gwynne, a very funny, sweet and caring man.

why our housemate makes me go ARRRRRGH:

background: in our bathroom there's been a wineglass on the windowsill for ages. no idea why it's there.

 2 nights ago, we went to visit dave's grandad in hospital. he was better than i've ever seen him - including the time when he didn't have cancer. he was bright, chatty, full of laughs and energy.

today, he's been diagnosed with pneumonia and according to dave's mum is 'delirious'. apparently he keeps trying to rip all the needles out of his arms.

 okay so i really need to grow up.

today i spent the day tidying. i put all the washing up the boys have accrued over the week (4 big dinner plates, various bowls, glasses, blender dave made milkshake in, etc) in the kitchen. i also did all the washing up that was in the kitchen before that.

 so the past few days have been okay. i've been recording my blood sugars every time i do one (and i've been doing a lot more of them). that being said, i've just realised i've only done 2 yesterday and none today?! oops.

 a few days ago i discovered i only had a few of my anti-anxiety tablets left. today was the only chance i had to put my prescription in (and now i have to wait 48hrs until it's ready to pick up).

so i've been going one day with tablet/one day without.
