I have no idea where to ask these questions, so I'm just going to take a shot and comment here.

If someone purchases a permanent account, do they have to continue to pay for icon/userpic space add-ons? I understand that they get 100 userpics, plus whatever loyalty extras to equal their total amount. For instance, I have a paid account, I also pay for add-ons, and I have 10 loyalty userpics. So altogether, I have 110. If I upgrade to a permanent account when they go up for sale again, will I retain my 110 userpics automatically, or will I have to still pay the additional fee?

Will the maximum allowance change? It says "maximum allowance" on the FAQ, and gives the total of 144 userpics including loyalties, but will that change in the future (as the case of the a la carte idea)? If it does, will a permanent account be updated automatically to the maximum? For that matter, are all changes/updates automatically applied to a permanent account or do they keep only the features available at the time of purchase?

What about price changes?

I'll try to answer, as far as I know.

If someone purchases a permanent account, do they have to continue to pay for icon/userpic space add-ons? If you upgrade to a Permanent account, you'll get all of the userpics you have now, plus all of the loyalty userpics, as if you'd had a Paid Account since the beginning (the current total for Perm + Loyalty is 145), and they'll continue to accrue.

Will the maximum allowance change? I don't know. The details of the a la carte userpics program isn't finalized, so I do not know if that will change the maximum for Perm accounts yet. However, any changes are automatically applied, so you will always get what is being offered to Perm Accounts (plus over-time addons, like the loyalty userpics) at the time, your account benefits aren't frozen in time when you buy it.

What about price changes? Once you purchase it, there's no adjustment for price changes. I suspect (although I do not know for sure) that the price will only go up over time, never down.
